Exciting News for Canadian Citizens: Sponsor Your Parents or Grandparents!

Great news, Canadian citizens and permanent residents! Starting July 28, 2025, you’ll have the chance to sponsor your parents or grandparents for permanent residency in Canada.

The government will send out a total of 17,860 invitations over two weeks, aiming to accept 10,000 applications this year. If you submitted an interest to sponsor form back in 2020, keep an eye on your mailbox!

But don’t worry if you don’t receive an invitation. You can still host your family through the super visa program, allowing them to stay up to 10 years!
