New Express Entry Draw: More Opportunities for Trade Workers!

The Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has just made waves in the immigration world by issuing 1,250 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for candidates in the Express Entry trade occupations category!

To be part of this exciting draw, candidates needed a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of at least 505 and should have created their Express Entry profile before 10:36 p.m. UTC on November 5, 2025.

This draw marks the first selection of trade candidates this year, following a notable gap since the last draw in October 2024, which had a much lower cut-off score of 433.

With 65,547 ITAs issued so far in 2025, the trend has largely leaned towards Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draws. The IRCC plans to issue about 3,300 ITAs for trade candidates in the second half of the year, making it a great time to polish your profile!
