Read moreHey there, aspiring immigrants! Big news for those looking at moving to Quebec. On July 17, the province rolled out its first invitations under the new Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ). This is your chance if you’re already living in Quebec and have a knack for French!
The invitations focused on individuals with work experience or educational credentials from Quebec, especially targeting occupations that fill the province’s labor shortages. Sounds exciting, right?
So, who got invited? For this round, the program looked into two specific streams:
This stream welcomed 216 people! To qualify, candidates needed at least 768 points and a diploma from a Quebec educational institution. Plus, they had to meet additional criteria like having work experience in particular job categories.
Here, just 22 people were invited, and they needed a post-graduate diploma—pretty exclusive! They also had to prove their exceptional achievements in specific fields.
If you think you meet the criteria, don't wait! Check out the PSTQ, make sure your declaration of interest in Arrima is updated, and aim for that high score. Good luck!
