Imagine this: walking into the T.rex Gallery, home to Scotty, the world’s largest Tyrannosaurus rex. It's not just about seeing giant fossils; it’s about living the thrill! Throughout November, visitors of all ages are invited to join in the fun by sporting their favorite dinosaur gear. And get this: you can take on a scavenger hunt while exploring the exhibits!
Here's the exciting part: complete the scavenger hunt and earn yourself a special Dinovember sticker! It's a great way to dive into our province's rich history of dinosaurs and fossils. Parks, Culture and Sport Minister Alana Ross says it perfectly: “This is a great opportunity to get a glimpse into our province's past...”
- Kick-Off Event: November 1, 1:30-3:30 PM - Join us for a Scotty Talk and meet our mascot Munchie!
- Weekly Learning Lab: Saturdays and Sundays, 1:30-3:30 PM - Hands-on activities for everyone!
- Science on a Sphere: November 3 & 10, 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM - View dynamic videos about dinosaurs!
- Stuffie Sleepover: November 18, 10:30-11:30 AM - Your stuffed animals can join the adventure!
