Exciting Opportunities: Alberta's Law Enforcement Pathway Draws

Are you looking to make a difference in Alberta? Great news! The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) just held its fifth draw this year targeting law enforcement professionals. This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to contribute to community safety!

On August 19, the AAIP issued invitations through its Express Entry stream’s Law Enforcement Pathway, with fewer than 10 lucky candidates getting the nod! With a minimum score of 45, this draw featured one of the lowest cut-off scores of 2025. If you've been dreaming of a career in law enforcement in Alberta, this is your chance!

The Law Enforcement Pathway was launched in June 2024, aiming to support local police services in building their teams. To qualify, you need a job offer from a member of the Alberta Association of Chiefs of Police, along with meeting other Express Entry requirements.

Eligible roles include everything from commissioned police officers to specialized investigative occupations. There are still opportunities available! As of August 27, a number of nominations are waiting to be issued, making it a great time to assess your eligibility and enhance your chances.
