Celebrating New Citizens: Welcoming Week in Canada

The Honourable Marc Miller, Canada’s Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, will proudly welcome 61 new citizens from 24 different countries as part of this year's Welcoming Week celebrations!

From September 13 to 22, communities across Canada come together to recognize what makes everyone feel included and valued. It’s all about spreading warmth and making every individual feel at home, no matter where they come from.

The ceremony will be presided over by Citizenship Judge Rania Sfeir, who will help make this moment extra special for our newest citizens. Four different continents, diverse cultures, and rich traditions will be represented, showcasing the beautiful mosaic that is Canada.

Welcoming Week is not just a ceremony; it’s a reminder that we are all part of one big community. Let's embrace and celebrate our differences!
