Every September 21, we take a moment to appreciate the incredible efforts of agricultural societies across Alberta. These organizations are vital to our communities, with 292 of them working tirelessly to host over 40,000 events each year!
From rodeos to educational programs, these societies make our rural areas vibrant and thriving places to live. Notably, many of these societies have been around for decades, with some celebrating over 100 years of service!
The Alberta government proudly supports these societies through various programs, providing essential funding for infrastructure improvements. This means better facilities for community events, agricultural activities, and much more!
