As of June 20, Alberta is facing a tough wildfire situation with 51 wildfires currently burning across the province. Out of these, 19 are classified as out of control! Our brave firefighters, over 1,700 strong, are working tirelessly to manage these fires using heavy equipment and aircraft.
Residents are encouraged to keep an eye on evacuation orders and alerts. Just recently, some areas like Northern Lights and Grande Prairie lifted their evacuation alerts, but others, like Saddle Hills County, remain in tough spots.
