great news for the dedicated members of the Alberta Public Service (APS)! Recently, unionized members voted to accept the mediator's recommendation and ratify a new contract.
This new four-year agreement comes after months of dedicated negotiations between Alberta’s government and the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE). It’s a significant step forward!
The agreement strikes a balance between competitive compensation for employees and long-term stability for the public service, ensuring that both employees and the public benefit.
