Alberta's Enhanced Mediation Process: A Step Forward

Great news for Alberta! The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees (AUPE) is teaming up with Alberta's government to improve negotiations through a new enhanced mediation process.

AUPE President Guy Smith recently met with government representatives to discuss how both sides can reach a resolution that supports Alberta's hardworking employees. This process is all about fairness and ensuring that the contributions of these essential workers are recognized and valued.

What's fascinating is that this enhanced mediation is expected to wrap up by the end of August. The mediator will offer non-binding recommendations to help both parties find common ground.

It's wonderful to see cooperation between the parties, and we’re hopeful for a positive outcome. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
